One Solid Memory Foam Block. Not sponge, not offcuts.

Most dog beds are filled with one of two things: loose foam offcuts, or a sheet of soft polyurethane sponge. Both compress fast under a heavy dog, and once they go flat they stay flat - your dog ends up sleeping on the floor with a fabric cover over it.

Ours are built from a single solid orthopaedic block. It compresses under your dog's weight and returns to shape, which is the entire point: even, consistent support under the hips, elbows and shoulders, night after night.

If your last orthopaedic bed went flat within a month, this is why.

Big dogs carry more. Their beds should too.

THE PROBLEM

Every walk, every game of fetch - a big dog puts far more weight through their joints than a small one ever will.

IT ADDS UP

Hip dysplasia and arthritis are far more common in large and giant breeds, and they tend to show up earlier.

WHY THE BED MATTERS

Fourteen hours a day on the wrong surface undoes a lot. Proper support - and enough room to stretch out fully - changes how they get up in the morning.

Not sure which size?

Big dogs need more room than most beds allow. Find the right fit in seconds.

Between two sizes? Go up. A dog with stiff joints needs to stretch out fully - a bed that is too tight forces them to curl, which is exactly what we are trying to avoid.

Frequently asked questions

What size do I need for a Labrador, German Shepherd or Great Dane?

Labradors and Goldens (25-40kg) fit our Large. German Shepherds and Rottweilers (40-60kg) need the XL. Great Danes, Newfoundlands and Saint Bernards (60kg+) need the XXL. Between two sizes, go up.

How do I measure my dog?

Measure from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail while your dog is lying stretched out, then add roughly 15cm. Compare that to the internal sleeping area listed on each bed, not the outer dimensions.

Can I wash the cover?

Yes. The cover unzips completely and is machine washable. There is a waterproof liner underneath, so the foam stays dry.

My dog is fussy - what if they will not use it?

Most settle within one to three days. Put their old blanket on top for the first couple of nights and place the bed where they already sleep. If they still will not use it, return it within 30 days for a full refund.

How long does delivery take?

5-8 working days across mainland UK, free of charge.

Will it smell when it arrives?

There may be a faint scent for the first 24 to 48 hours. This is normal for foam bedding and fades quickly. Unzip the cover and air it for a few hours if you would like it gone sooner.
